Oppo has confirmed that its upcoming Find X series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300, the world’s first flagship smartphone chip to use all big cores.
Here’s what we know!
The Find X series, which is expected to launch in early 2024, will feature a panoramic design, a stealth 3D camera, and a generative AI engine. The series will also support 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and UFS 4.0 storage.
The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is the third generation of MediaTek’s modern SoC lineup built on TSMC’s third-gen 4 nm process. The chip boasts four Arm Cortex-X4 cores clocked at a max speed of 3.25GHz and four Cortex-A720 cores clocking in at 2.0GHz, providing enthusiasts with the ultimate performance.
The chip also features the world’s best performance and most efficient raytracing mobile GPU, the Immortalis-G720, which can deliver fast, full raytracing experiences at a smooth 60 FPS and console-level global illumination effects.
The Dimensity 9300 also incorporates a hardware generative AI engine, enabling faster and safer edge AI computing. MediaTek’s comprehensive toolchain assists developers in swiftly and efficiently deploying multimodal generative AI applications at the edge, providing users with innovative generative AI experiences, such as text, images, music, and more.
The Oppo Find X series will be the one to use MediaTek Dimensity 9300, which is expected to compete with other flagship chips from Qualcomm, Apple, and Samsung. The Find X series will also showcase Oppo’s technological innovation and design philosophy, aiming to create a panoramic and immersive experience for users.
