Huawei has launched pre-orders for the Mate XT 2 Extraordinary Master Edition in China, revealing three new color options and confirming the official release date for the tri-fold flagship.
Pre-orders opened at 10:08 AM on August 31, and some versions sold out almost immediately. The strong early response shows how much consumer interest surrounds this device.
Meanwhile, Huawei revealed three new color options for the first time: Pure White, Obsidian Black, and Brocade Purple. Each finish carries its own texture and sheen. Pure White comes across as clean and simple, Obsidian Black feels calm and understated, and Brocade Purple presents an elegant, dynamic look.
In addition, the variety gives buyers more ways to match their personal style and how they plan to use the phone. With its tri-fold design and rich color options, this Extraordinary Master flagship becomes a portable statement piece for high-end users to showcase their personal taste.
In terms of hardware, the Mate XT2 features an ultra-thin tri-fold screen measuring around 10 inches. The outer screen uses a long punch-hole design while the inner screen has a single punch-hole camera. It also includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 16GB of RAM across the entire lineup, and storage options up to 2TB. The 1TB and 2TB versions add support for a privacy screen feature.
Moreover, the brand has teased several promotional videos on its official Weibo page. It is also confirmed that the phone will officially launch on September 7 in China. No words yet if they will bring this device here in the Philippines.
