Nothing OS 2.6 Brings New Features and Bug Fixes to Phone (2) and Phone (2a)

Nothing has released Nothing OS 2.6, bringing a host of new features and improvements to its Phone (2) and Phone (2a) devices. The update focuses on enhancing user experience, improving gaming performance, and addressing various bug fixes.

New Features and Improvements:

The update introduces several new features across both devices, including:

• CMF Watch Battery Level Display: The Quick Settings Bluetooth tile now displays the battery level of your CMF Watch.
• Swipeable Date Widget: A new swipeable Date Widget allows users to easily navigate through dates.
• Community Headlines Widget: Stay up-to-date with the latest news and headlines through the newly added Community Headlines Widget.

Phone (2) Specific Enhancements:

• Wallpaper Studio Improvements: Users can now delete their wallpaper history in Wallpaper Studio.
• Weather Widget/App Enhancements: The initial setup for the Weather Widget/app has been improved with user-friendly prompts to add a specific city.
• Low Lag Mode Optimization: The Low Lag Mode experience has been optimized for Nothing earbuds.

Game Mode Enhancements:

• Game Dashboard Access: Tap the left sidebar for quick access to the Game Dashboard during games.
• Call Pop-Ups: Incoming calls during games are now displayed in a pop-up.
• Call Management: The update adds support for rejecting third-party app calls during gameplay and allows for one-tap callback after rejecting a call.
• Notification Optimization: Light notifications now show more information during games, and users can block notifications to reduce distractions.

Bug Fixes:

• WhatsApp Recording Issue: An issue affecting voice and call recording in WhatsApp has been resolved.
• General Bug Fixes: Other general bug fixes and experience improvements have been implemented.

Phone (2) Specific Bug Fixes:

• Emergency Call Anomalies: Anomalies when making emergency calls in certain scenarios have been addressed.
• Cloned Apps Issue: An issue where some apps could not use the Cloned Apps feature properly has been fixed.

Phone (2a) Specific Bug Fixes:

• Atmosphere Wallpaper Issue: An issue causing the Atmosphere wallpaper effect to disappear in certain scenarios has been fixed.
• Lock Screen Overlap Issue: An issue causing overlapping of the Lock Screen display in certain scenarios has been resolved.
• Photo Preview Issue: An issue causing photo previews to display incorrectly when taken in landscape while the device was locked has been fixed.
• Portrait Mode Improvement: Portrait Mode in the camera has been improved to avoid incorrect blurring.
• Camera Stability Optimization: Camera stability has been optimized.

Nothing OS 2.6 is now available for download on both Phone (2) and Phone (2a). Users can update their devices through the Settings app.
