This simultaneous global release highlights Nubia’s commitment to catering to its international customer base.
Design and Display
The Nubia Z60 Ultra stands out with its eye-catching design. Unlike other smartphones that opt for simple and safe designs, the Z60 Ultra features a unique camera setup that showcases each lens separately. This design choice has garnered positive attention from internet users. Additionally, Nubia has teased the availability of the popular Starry Night Collector’s Edition design for the Z60 Ultra in China, and we hope to see this option in the global market as well.
The device sports a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. What sets the screen apart is the absence of a punch-hole, providing users with a genuine full-screen experience thanks to Nubia’s fifth-generation in-display selfie camera solution.
Powerful Performance
Under the hood, the Nubia Z60 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, ensuring smooth and efficient performance. It is expected to come with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, allowing users to store their files and enjoy seamless multitasking. The device runs on the MyOS-based Android 14 operating system, offering a user-friendly and customizable interface.
Impressive Camera System
Photography enthusiasts will be delighted with the Nubia Z60 Ultra’s camera capabilities. The device is rumored to feature an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera. The periscope telephoto camera is expected to offer up to 3x optical zoom, enabling users to capture detailed and zoomed-in shots. On the front, the device is likely to sport a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Long-Lasting Battery and IP68 Rating
To keep up with the demands of power-hungry users, the Nubia Z60 Ultra is equipped with a large 6,000mAh battery. This substantial battery capacity ensures extended usage without the need for frequent charging. Additionally, the device supports 80W fast charging.
Moreover, the phone boasts an IP68 rating, indicating its dustproof and water-resistant capabilities. This feature provides added peace of mind for users, knowing that their device is protected against accidental spills and exposure to dust and dirt.
