The New York Times Strands puzzle for Wednesday, June 3, 2026 brings a lovely nature-themed grid with words winding in all directions. You might spot a few common terms early on, but some words twist and curve so much that it’s easy to pass right over them. If you want to keep your streak safe without using too many in-game hints, we’ve got you covered. Below is today’s theme clue, helpful hints for the Spangram, and the full solution at the bottom of the page.

    Today’s Strands Strategy & Commentary

Words run up, down, sideways, and diagonally, and they share a lot of common letters so it’s easy to mix them up. Most theme words are short or medium length, but the Spangram stretches long across the board and curves through the middle area. It works best to look for flower or garden related terms first. Once you find one or two, the Spangram becomes much easier to trace, and the rest of the words will start popping out.
