Oppo has officially announced the new Reno 16c 5G in India. This device brings massive battery capacity and upgraded camera features to budget conscious buyers. It will be available starting July 9 across major online platforms and offline stores.

The Oppo Reno 16c 5G comes in three storage options and three color choices:
- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: Rs 46,999
- 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: Rs 49,999
- 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: Rs 55,999
- Colors: Stellar Purple, Twilight Violet, Starry White

Key Highlights and Comparison to Oppo Reno 15c
On paper, the biggest upgrade here is the massive 7,000mAh battery. According to TheMobileIndian, it can easily last 1.5 days of regular use before dropping to around 19%. It also features a triple camera setup including two sensors with optical image stabilization and a 3.5x optical zoom lens. The bright 120Hz AMOLED screen and IP69K water resistance add extra value as well.

Compared to the Oppo Reno 15c, the Reno 16c 5G offers longer battery life, improved camera stabilization, and better water and dust resistance. The Reno 15c has a smaller battery and lacks dual optical image stabilization on its rear cameras, though both models include a telephoto lens and match at 80W charging speed and 50MP front camera resolution. The newer model switches to the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chip, while its predecessor uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4.
