    Here’s what we know!

Poco is known for offering flagship-level smartphones at affordable prices. The F-series of Poco phones has always been popular among the fans of high-performance devices. The latest addition to this series is the Poco F6, which is expected to launch in India in the first quarter of 2024.

The Poco F6 is rumored to be the rebranded version of the Redmi K70, which will launch exclusively in China. The Redmi K70 is a successor to the Redmi K60, which was also rebranded as the Poco F5 in India. The Redmi K70 and the Poco F6 are likely to share the same design and specifications, with some minor differences in software and branding.

The Poco F6 was spotted on the BIS website with the model number 2311DRK481 by a Twitter user named Yash. The same model number was also seen on the IMEI database earlier, suggesting that the phone is ready for the Indian market. The BIS certification does not reveal any other details about the phone, but it is likely to share the same specifications and design as the Redmi K70.

The Poco F6 is said to feature a 6.67-inch 2K C7 AMOLED with 12 bit display up to 2600 nits, 2160hz PWM dimming and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will also have an in-screen fingerprint scanner and a punch-hole cutout for the 20MP selfie camera. The back panel of the phone will be made of glass and will have a rectangular camera module with three sensors and an LED flash. The phone will be available in multiple color options, such as black, blue, green, and white.

The main attraction of the Poco F6 will be its powerful processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is the previous flagship chipset from the American chipmaker. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is based on a 4nm process and has an octa-core CPU with a peak frequency of 3.2GHz and an Adreno 740 GPU with Independent graphics Chip X7 to enhance gaming performance. The processor will be paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal storage, without a microSD card slot. The phone will run on Android 14 with HyperOS skin on top.

The Poco F6 will also impress the gamers and enthusiasts with its battery and charging capabilities. The phone will pack a 5000mAh battery that will support 120W fast charging, which can fully charge the phone in just 20 minutes. The phone will also have stereo speakers, NFC, and IP68 rating.

The camera department of the Poco F6 will consist of a 50MP Sony IMX800 primary sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50MP OmniVision OV50D telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and 12MP OmniVision OV13B10 ultra-wide-angle lens. The camera will be capable of recording 4K videos at 60fps and 8K videos at 30fps. The camera performance of the phone will depend on the software optimization and the image processing of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

The Phone is expected to be priced around Rs. 36,990 (PHP 24,799) in India, which will make it one of the most affordable flagships in the market. The Poco F6 will offer a great value for money proposition for the users who want a premium smartphone with top-notch performance and features. The Poco F6 will be a flagship killer for gaming and more.
