Will the Poco F7 Series Be a New “Flagship Killer”?

Poco is well-known for its “flagship killer” phones, offering competitive specifications and pricing in the Philippines. In January of this year, the Poco X7 and Poco X7 Pro were launched as mid-range killers in the Philippines, achieving impressive performance and appealing to Filipino consumers, especially gamers. Now, the Poco F7 series arrives in the country with even more powerful performance—but will it live up to the “flagship killer” moniker?

The Poco F7 Ultra is expected to be the global equivalent of the Redmi K80 Pro, while the Poco F7 is a global variant of the Redmi K80 launched in China last year. The Poco F7 Ultra will feature a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, while the Poco F7 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Before its release, several reviewers shared benchmark scores for the Poco F7 Ultra from Antutu and Geekbench. Gizguide reported a remarkably high Antutu score of 2,663,583, with the following breakdown:

  • CPU: 534,593
  • GPU: 1,134,849
  • Memory: 567,212

The Poco F7 series is now listed on the Poco Store Global on Shopee and Lazada and will be available for purchase in the Philippines on March 27th, 2025. However, the official price has yet to be announced. It is expected to be more affordable than other flagship brands with similar processors, following the pricing pattern of previous “flagship killer” phones.
