Poco is preparing to launch the upcoming Poco F7 Ultra, a flagship device powered by the new and powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This will mark the first time Poco will be releasing a smartphone with this powerful processor, and it will also be the first Poco to be called “Ultra.”
Poco F7 Ultra Rumors
The Poco F7 Ultra has officially appeared in the GSMA IMEI database. Rumors also suggest that this is the first time Poco will announce a smartphone called “Ultra.” According to reports, the Poco F7 Ultra, with model number 24122RKC7G (SM8650), has been spotted in the GSMA IMEI database, suggesting it is gearing up for a global launch.
The Poco F7 Ultra is expected to be the global alternative to the Redmi K80 Pro, which is expected to be a China-exclusive model with a model number (24122RKC7C). While the Redmi K80 Pro is rumored to launch in late November or December 2024, the Poco F7 Ultra is expected to hit the global market in early 2025. This aligns with the typical release cycle of previous Poco F series devices.
One of the exciting features of the phone is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. This chipset is expected to power other Xiaomi flagships, including the Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Pro, and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. This suggests that the Poco F7 Ultra will be a premium device with top-of-the-line performance and features.
The current Poco F6 Pro, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, is available on Amazon for $469.99. The Poco F7 Ultra is expected to be priced higher, reflecting its more powerful processor and premium features.
While these rumors are exciting, it’s best to wait for official confirmation from Poco before getting too excited. Poco’s continued global expansion and commitment to innovation suggests that the Poco F7 Ultra will be a significant addition to the Poco lineup. As the first Poco to bear the “Ultra” moniker, it promises a powerful and feature-rich device that will appeal to tech-savvy consumers worldwide.
