Tecno Pova Slim 5G | World’s Slimmest Smartphone with Curved Display

The Tecno Pova Slim 5G was first introduced as a concept phone at MWC 2025 in Barcelona. Tecno Mobile India has officially confirmed that the phone will launch in India on September 4, 2025, at 12 PM, as announced on their website. The phone will be sold on Flipkart and in offline stores in India, but there is no word yet on whether it will be available in the Philippines.

World’s Slimmest Smartphone Ever

Tecno Mobile claims that the Pova Slim 5G will be the world’s slimmest smartphone with a curved display, measuring just 5.75mm thin while still packing a massive 5,200mAh battery.

While the brand has not revealed the phone’s full specifications, a teaser photo and some features have been showcased on their website. The phone’s design is consistent with what was introduced in Barcelona in March 2025 as the Tecno Spark Slim.

The camera module, dubbed “Dynamic Mood Light Design,” features a horizontal pill-shaped design with two circular lenses positioned at either end. A horizontal LED flash is located in the center of the module, connecting the two lenses with a thin, illuminated line.

Other mentioned features include “Ella AI,” which offers circle-to-search functionality and an AI writing assistant. The Tecno Pova Slim 5G also features “No Network Communication,” enabling calls without a network connection, and enhanced 5G network capabilities with high bandwidth optimization.

At MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Tecno Mobile mentioned that the Tecno Pova Slim 5G sports a 6.78″ 3D curved AMOLED display, dual 50MP main cameras, and a 5,200mAh battery. The chipset has not been specified, but it is expected to be a 5G-capable processor. The remaining specifications are to be confirmed before its official launch.
