Today’s Wordle Hints
Try working through these clues before revealing the answer:
- The word starts with F.
- It ends with S.
- It contains 2 vowels: O and U.
- No letters are repeated.
- It can be used as both a noun and a verb.
- It means to direct attention or effort toward something, or the center of activity or interest.
A useful starting words
If you are looking for a strong opening guess, I actually tested FOIST and it is a useful option. It tests several common letters and gives you clear information about the puzzle’s vowels.
My second attempt was FORES. F, O, and S were all in the correct positions. But the other two letters were not in the word at all. That made the answer easy to spot on the next try.
It will not reveal today’s answer directly, but it can help narrow down the possibilities early.

Today’s Wordle Answer

Today’s Wordle Explained
It is a common word though the vowel placement can be tricky. The two vowels O and U sit in the middle, so finding one does not immediately reveal the other. That pattern is what makes this word a little harder than it first appears. For example you might say we need to focus on finishing the project, or that the main focus is improving battery life.
What does “focus” mean?
Focus can be a noun or a verb. As a noun it means the center of attention or activity. As a verb it means to concentrate your attention or effort on one thing. You can focus your camera, focus on your work, or be the focus of a discussion.
For example, you might say keep your focus steady and you will solve it.
