Xiaomi has officially launched its latest tablet, the base Xiaomi Pad 9. The device features a large 9,720mAh battery, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, and a 13MP main camera. It was unveiled on August 14, 2026. The launch took place in China, with sales available through official Xiaomi channels.
To recall, the device appeared on 3C certification listings ahead of its official launch, confirming the 9,720mAh battery and 45W fast charging. Early rumors also suggested it does not use the Xring O3 chip, which is exclusive to the top tier Pad 9 Pro Max.

Xiaomi has priced the Pad 9 competitively in the Chinese market. Converted prices are for reference only:

- 8GB+256GB: 3,299 CNY (~PHP 30,999)

The device comes in Silver, Spruce Green, Black, and Ice Peach Pink. Pre-orders are now live through Xiaomi’s official online store in China.
