According to a recent report, Xiaomi is planning to launch the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro globally, expanding its availability beyond China. This means that the premium tablet from Xiaomi could also be released in other regions, including Europe. The global launch of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is expected to happen next year, alongside the release of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Until now, Xiaomi has primarily focused on launching the Pro models of its tablet series exclusively in China. However, there are indications that this strategy might change with the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro.
The source code of HyperOS, Xiaomi’s new Android skin, contains a reference to a global launch of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. This suggests that the tablet will be available worldwide and not limited to the Chinese market, as was the case with previous generations.
Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro Leaked Specifications
Some leaked specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro have also surfaced. The tablet is expected to feature a slightly smaller 10-inch display, offering a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is rumored to be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The tablet’s HyperOS overlay will be based on Android 14.
Launch Date of Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro
The launch of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is anticipated to take place in April 2024, alongside the release of the Pad 7 and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra flagship smartphone. However, initially, these devices might be available only in China, with the global launch expected to follow later in the year.
