ZTE RedMagic 10 Pro Series Officially Launched in China

After several teasers, the new ZTE Nubia RedMagic flagship phone has now officially launched in China. The phone has significant upgrades over its predecessor, especially in performance, design, and its new BOE screen. However, the global launch event is also listed on their website, with a launch date of December 3, 2024.

RedMagic 10 Pro Series Features

The RedMagic 10 Pro sports a 6.85-inch 1.5K BOE Q9+ OLED display supporting a 144Hz refresh rate and a 960Hz touch sampling rate. It also features 2592Hz PWM high-frequency dimming for eye protection and up to 2000 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite with an Adreno 830 GPU. Aside from that, it features ICE X cooling technology, which uses 5,200mm² superconducting copper foil and a 12,000mm² 3D vapor chamber for heat management.

For memory, it offers 12GB/16GB/24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and starting at 256GB up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. The phone runs on Android 15 with a RedMagic AI OS 10.0 custom skin on top.

For the camera, the phone sports a 50MP f/1.88 Omnivision OV50E40 OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a 2MP macro rear camera. However, the front camera houses a 16MP under-display sensor, dubbed a new display from BOE to enhance the clarity of the selfie shooter.

For the battery, it packs a massive 6500mAh capacity with 80W fast charging and supports a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port. However, the RedMagic 10 Pro+ increases the battery capacity to 7050mAh.

For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7, 6, 5, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, an infrared port, and GPS. Other features include an X-axis linear motor for haptics, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

RedMagic 10 Pro Series Price and Availability

The RedMagic 10 Pro and Pro+ are now available for pre-order in China, with sales starting on November 18, 2024. However, the global launch event will debut on December 3, 2024, and we expect the phone to be available soon in the Philippines next month.
