Vivo has introduced the Vivo Y21d in the Philippines, an entry-level phone boasting a massive battery and premium features. It is now available nationwide, starting at ₱6,999, in Lavender Purple and Glowing Black colorways.
The phone features a 6.68-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 1,000 nits peak brightness. It has an IP68 and IP69 rating for water and dust resistance and is SGS Five-Star drop-resistant, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions.
A key highlight of the Vivo Y21d is its substantial 6500mAh BlueVolt battery, supported by 44W flash charge. Vivo claims the battery’s health will degrade by only 20% over five years.
Internally, it runs on a Unisoc T225 octa-core processor with a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The phone operates on Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, and includes 4GB of RAM with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage options.
In terms of cameras, the phone features a 50MP f/1.8 AI main camera, a 0.08MP secondary sensor, and an LED dynamic light. The front camera is a 5MP f/2.2 selfie shooter. It is also equipped with AI features like Circle to Search, AI Screen Translation, and AI Photo Enhancement.
Additional features include dual stereo speakers with up to 400% volume, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, OTG, FM Radio, WIFI 5, and Bluetooth 5.2.
The Vivo Y21d is available in the Philippines starting at ₱6,999 for the 4GB/128GB storage variant, while the 6GB/256GB variant is priced at ₱8,999. It can be purchased from Vivo’s official online stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as in offline stores nationwide.
