Vivo officially launched the Vivo X500 on September 21, 2026 at 7:00 PM in China. It features the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chip, a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, and a 7,500mAh battery. It comes in three storage variants up to 1TB, with color options including Echoes of the Earth, Sunny Day white, Dawn pink, and Night Photography. The device is now available through official online and offline stores.
According to the brand via Weibo, the Vivo X500 is the best standard version in the industry and a higher precision model that goes beyond typical standard editions. It features Dual Pro Zeiss imaging with the largest sensor ever used in a standard Vivo X series phone.
It also includes Pro grade main and telephoto cameras and supports Lipstick 200 zoom. Vivo says this makes it perfect for travel photography. The phone can also capture Vivo’s first native 8K Live video, powered by the in house developed Blueprint V3+ imaging chip and running OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.

The base phone has a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 6,000 nits peak brightness.

As noted in our earlier report, the phone runs the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M. It uses a 1× Arm C1 Ultra plus 3× C1 Premium plus 4× C1 Pro core setup with a maximum clock speed of 4.21GHz.
It also carries a large battery that was previously spotted on the 3C certification under model number V2609A, paired with 90W fast charging.

The camera details was confirmed earlier by the brand and uses the Sony LYTIA 828 main sensor with gimbal level stabilization.

The phone is currently available in China, and consumers can purchase it through official vivo shop. There is no confirmed date yet for global release or availability in the Philippines.
