Want to know what could power your next Samsung flagship? A new Geekbench listing has appeared, showing details of hardware said to be the Exynos 2700, and it might address the heat and speed issues that plagued older models.
While Samsung hasn’t confirmed the chip’s name or specs, tipster Abhishek Yadav shared a test device label on X: “Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Full Android on S5E9975 ERD”. That code lines up with how Samsung names its top-tier processors, so it’s got folks talking about what’s coming in 2027.

The unconfirmed design packs 10 cores split into four groups to balance power and battery life. Here’s how it’s said to break down:
- Cluster 1: 1 core @ 2.30GHz
- Cluster 2: 4 cores @ 2.40GHz
- Cluster 3: 1 core @ 2.78GHz
- Cluster 4: 4 cores @ 2.88GHz
The test ran on Android 16 with 12GB of RAM, meaning Samsung is already prepping the chip for software that won’t even be out for a while.
For gaming and visuals, the listing mentions the Samsung Xclipse 970 GPU, which keeps up the company’s partnership with AMD. It scored 15,618 in OpenCL tests, but don’t read too much into that number yet. Early test versions are built to check for bugs, not hit top speeds.
The chip is expected to use Samsung’s new 2nm manufacturing process, called SF2P, though no details have been shared or announced by the brand. This follows the Exynos 2600, which will also use 2nm technology. It is expected this could help stop the overheating and slowdowns seen in past Exynos chips. The multi-core setup is also expected to be designed to keep performance smooth when playing games or running multiple apps at once.
And while Samsung is still getting ready to launch the confirmed Exynos 2600 soon, this leak shows they’re already working on what could be their biggest upgrade yet for 2027.
