The Geekbench results show strong performance from the new silicon:

  • Single-core score: 3,434
  • Multi-core score: 9,334

These early benchmark scores place the iQOO 16 in a strong performance range, though the device remains in testing phase and results may improve as final software and thermal optimizations are applied. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro architecture points to competitive performance potential, with official figures expected to be confirmed closer to launch.

The Geekbench database reveals the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro (model SM8975) features an octa-core CPU configuration with a powerful setup:

  • 2 high-performance cores clocked at 5.01GHz
  • 3 mid-tier cores clocked at 4.03GHz
  • 3 efficiency cores clocked at 3.74GHz

Graphics processing is handled by the Adreno 850 GPU, which is expected to deliver flagship-level gaming performance and improved power efficiency. The test unit was configured with 16GB of RAM and ran Android 17, confirming that iQOO’s latest flagship will launch with Google’s newest operating system out of the box.

According to a report by Gizmochina, the iQOO 16 is tipped to launch in September alongside a new iQOO mini tablet. However, the brand has not yet commented on the phone’s specifications or its exact launch date.

The appearance on Geekbench indicates that iQOO is in the final stages of testing and software optimization. More details about pricing, full specifications, and the exact launch date are expected to surface in the coming weeks as the company prepares for its official unveiling next month.
