iQOO 16 Promotional Images Just Released and Here Is What They Show

Official promotional materials for the iQOO 16 have been shared via the brand’s Weibo page, giving us our clearest official look yet at the upcoming flagship. Three separate visuals detail the device’s design, display technology partnership, and pre order benefits ahead of launch.

Starting with the design, the phone is shown from a close angled rear view. It has a large rounded rectangular camera module with three prominent lenses arranged in a triangular layout.

The finish is metallic silver and white with an angular reflective pattern across the back. The side frame looks flat and metallic, with the volume and power buttons placed just like on most smartphones today.

This camera design was first leaked in my earlier report. The phone is expected to carry a triple 50MP setup with a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. However the brand has not yet confirmed these camera sensor details.

Moving on to the display, the phone is highlighting its thin profile and flat screen. The bezels are very slim and there is a centered punch hole for the selfie camera. The brand announces a collaboration between Samsung Display and iQOO for the display technology uses on this device.

An event is scheduled for September 14 in South Korea at Samsung Display headquarters. This suggests iQOO is putting the display panel front and center as one of the phone’s major selling points.

Finally, the pre-order promotion features a dark technical style rendering of the triple camera system. The brand announces that pre-orders have opened and it advertises a 9.9 yuan gift package with a claimed total value of up to 3,403 yuan.

The package also includes TWS earbuds, a gaming phone cooling accessory, a power bank, a phone case and extended warranty benefits. Additional perks include installment discounts, membership benefits, trade-in subsidies and other promotional offers.

All in all, the phone comes across as a premium flagship built around performance. Its distinct camera design, the Samsung Display partnership, and the pre-order offers all signal a major release.

In terms of the processor, the iQOO 16 was previously spotted on Geekbench running the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro, which fits right in with its performance focused branding.
