Google has officially unveiled the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL, adding two new sizes to its 2026 lineup. Both carry the new Tensor G6 chip and improved camera hardware. They build on the Pixel series’ well known photography skills, while bringing longer software support and brighter screens to compete with other top tier phones.
The standard Pixel 11 Pro targets users who prefer a more compact flagship form factor, while the larger Pro XL caters to power users and media consumers with a bigger screen and larger battery. Both devices share the same core chipset, camera system, and feature set, differing only in display size, battery capacity, and physical dimensions.
Display and Build
The Pixel 11 Pro sports a 6.3-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED display, while the Pro XL steps up to a 6.8-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED panel. Both screens support an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and power efficiency, with a peak HDR brightness of 2,400 nits and an even higher 3,600-nit maximum brightness for clear visibility in direct sunlight. Protection comes from Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back, paired with IP68 dust and water resistance.
The lineup is available in four color options: Canyon, Olive, Fog, and Obsidian. In terms of size and weight, the standard Pro measures 152.7 × 71.9 × 8.4mm and weighs 204g, while the Pro XL comes in at 162.7 × 76.5 × 8.5mm and 226g.
Performance, Battery, and Charging
Under the hood, both models run on the new Google Tensor G6 system-on-chip, paired with the Titan M3 security chip for enhanced data protection. Memory and storage options start at 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, going up to 16GB of RAM with 512GB or 1TB configurations.
Battery capacities are tailored to each model’s size: the Pixel 11 Pro packs a 4,850mAh cell, while the Pro XL gets a larger 5,115mAh unit. Wired charging speeds top out at 30W for the Pro and 45W for the Pro XL, with both supporting 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging for cable-free top-ups.
Upgraded Triple Camera System
True to Pixel tradition, the camera system is a major highlight. Both devices share an identical rear triple-camera setup:
- 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS)
- 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens with dedicated Macro Focus capability
- 48MP 5x periscope telephoto camera with OIS
The telephoto enables a Pro Zoom range of up to 120x, letting users capture sharp details at extreme distances. For video, the lineup supports 8K recording at 24/30fps via Google’s Video Boost feature, alongside standard 4K 60fps capture. On the front, a 42MP autofocus selfie camera with a 103° wide field of view handles selfies and video calls, and can also record 4K 60fps footage.
Software and Premium Features
The Pixel 11 Pro series ships with Android 17 out of the box, backed by Google’s industry-leading 7-year update promise covering OS upgrades, monthly security patches, and regular Pixel Drop feature updates. This means the devices will receive official support through 2033.
Additional premium features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, a built-in temperature sensor, and modern connectivity options: Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, ultra-wideband (UWB), and USB Type-C 3.2.
