The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ launched in India on June 4, 2026. It features a 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 OIS main camera, a Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor, and a 6,500 mAh battery. It comes in three color options: Stormy Sea (Green), Zinfandel (Red), and Chicory Coffee (Wood). The price is set at ₹47,999 (~₱30,899, ~$501) for the 12GB/256GB model.
This phone joins the rest of the Edge 70 series as an upgraded version of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro, which launched earlier this year. As the flagship model in the lineup, it carries a higher price point compared to its siblings.
According to the brand, the device will go on sale in India starting June 11 at 12 PM. It will be available through Flipkart and Motorola’s official website. Customers will also get an instant bank discount of ₹3,000.
Stunning Display, Decent Camera Sensor, Upper-Midrange Processor, and Massive Battery Capacity
One of the main highlights, based on our analysis of the specs, is its display. It uses an Extreme AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 5,200 nits. These display specifications match what you would find in flagship smartphones today, yet the phone is priced within the affordable upper-midrange segment.

For photography, the phone is equipped with 50MP sensors across the entire camera system, including the front camera. The 50MP Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with OIS is a capable sensor that we have seen used in other upper-midrange phones. The ultra-wide-angle camera also has a 50MP sensor with macro capability. There is also a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS, offering 3.5x optical zoom and up to 50x Super Zoom. On the front, it includes a punch-hole style 50MP selfie camera. Another major feature is its massive 6,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery. It is paired with 90W TurboPower wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and support for 10W reverse wireless charging. Currently, silicon-carbon batteries are considered more reliable and efficient than previous generations of battery technology.
This model is available now in India, but a separate global version is unlikely. This is because this device is essentially a rebranded version of the international Motorola Edge 70 Pro. As reported earlier by GSMArena, Motorola released two versions of the Edge 70 Pro for global and Indian markets. The two versions differ in camera hardware and charging speeds. The report confirmed that the global variant would launch in India under the Edge 70 Pro+ name.
