Realme has officially confirmed that the Realme 16T 5G is launching in India on May 22, 2026. It is set to be one of the brand’s major releases centered on superior battery life, despite already offering the Realme P4 Power which packs a 10,001mAh battery.
The upcoming device will feature a massive 8,000mAh battery while maintaining a slim 8.8mm profile. Realme India claims the phone can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge, targeting users who prioritize endurance over frequent charging. It is also claimed that the battery offers up to 7 years of endurance.

The phone will support 45W fast charging along with bypass charging, a feature designed to reduce heat during gaming or heavy usage by supplying power directly to the device instead of the battery. Reverse charging support has also been confirmed.
According to the brand, the phone will arrive in Aurora Green, Starlight Red, and Starlight Black color options.
Under the hood, the device is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, although some early promotional material also points to the Dimensity 6360. The smartphone will reportedly come with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.
The Realme 16T 5G is also tipped to feature a 6.8-inch flat OLED display and a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel main sensor alongside a 2-megapixel secondary camera. On the front, the device is said to include a selfie shooter with mirror-style enhancements.
Additional features include IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, making it one of the more durable devices in its segment.
A tipster also hinted that the price is expected to be under ₹25,000 for the base 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant in India, though the brand has not yet revealed the official pricing.
Alongside the smartphone launch, the company is also preparing to introduce new accessories, including the Realme Buds Air8 Pro and the Watch S5.
