A new in-game event has launched in Pokémon Pokopia from Nintendo, introducing Sableye as a limited-time character alongside collectible rewards tied to a gemstone-hunting theme.
The event, titled “Sableye’s Gem Hunt,” is scheduled to run from April 29 at 5:00 a.m. to May 14 at 4:59 a.m. local time. During this period, players can find Sableye near the Pokémon Center and befriend the Darkness Pokémon as part of the event activities.
The main objective centers on collecting red crystal fragments, which are only available while the event is active. Players can access these items by examining a doll, prompting Drifloon to transport them to a Dream Island where the fragments can be gathered.
Collected fragments can be exchanged at the Pokémon Center for various rewards, including furniture, building kits, and other themed items inspired by gemstone hunting. These rewards are exclusive to the event.
Access to the event is limited to towns where the Pokémon Center has already been repaired, and it is not available on Cloud Islands. Pokémon befriended during the event, including Sableye, will remain in the player’s town after the event concludes. Meanwhile, Nintendo has shared gameplay tips for Pokémon Pokopia as in-game events continue.
Pokémon Pokopia is currently available at a standard retail price of $69.99 and continues to receive periodic in-game events as part of its ongoing content updates.
