The Xiaomi 17T has appeared on Geekbench’s AI benchmarking platform, pointing to an upcoming release. According to the Geekbench listing, the global variant carries the model number 2602DPT53G and reveals key hardware details.
Based on the benchmark data, the device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. The processor includes one core clocked at 3.40GHz, three cores at 3.20GHz, and four efficiency cores running at 2.20GHz, paired with a Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. The tested unit comes with 12GB of RAM and runs on Android 16.

According to Geekbench AI results, the Xiaomi 17T recorded a score of 777 in single-precision, 858 in half-precision, and 1,160 in quantized performance, indicating an improvement over its predecessor.
The Xiaomi 17T is expected to succeed the Xiaomi 15T, which launched in September last year with the Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor. According to a report from Experience more on Weibo, the focus this year is on performance and battery upgrades rather than camera changes.
Supporting this, a report from GSMArena states that the Xiaomi 17T may retain the same camera setup as its predecessor, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Additionally, the device could feature a larger 6,500mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging, marking a notable increase in battery capacity.
The Xiaomi 17T is also expected to launch alongside the Xiaomi 17T Pro, the successor to the Xiaomi 15T Pro. Xiaomi has yet to confirm an official release date, but its appearance on Geekbench suggests that the launch may be approaching.
