Nintendo has released a new overview trailer for Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, offering a closer look at Yoshi’s next adventure ahead of its launch.
The upcoming title will be available exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2, with a retail price of $59.99 (around ₱3,699). Pre-orders are now open through Nintendo’s official channels, while the newly released trailer can be viewed on the company’s official YouTube channel.
In Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, the story begins on what seems like an ordinary day before an unexpected event changes everything. A talking book named Mr. E suddenly falls from the sky, losing its memories after the crash. With key details about the mysterious creatures inside its pages forgotten, Yoshi sets out to restore what was lost.
Players will explore a variety of environments by diving into the book’s pages, encountering unusual creatures along the way. The game encourages discovery, allowing players to learn about each creature and even give them names. As the journey unfolds, familiar characters such as Bowser Jr. are also expected to make appearances, hinting at potential twists in the story.
The title is scheduled to launch on May 21, adding another chapter to Yoshi’s lineup of adventures. The character recently appeared in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, which was released on April 1, further bringing Yoshi into the spotlight across Nintendo’s latest projects.
