The Xiaomi 17 Max has been officially launched in China (Official Weibo page) with a starting price of CNY 4,299 (~₱38,899, ~₹60,800, ~$630). It is offered in four storage configurations up to 512GB, and comes in White, Black, and Blue color options.

Ahead of its official launch, earlier reports confirmed that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and equipped with an 8,000mAh battery supported by 100W fast charging.
In tests conducted by Xiaomi, the 17 Max lasts up to 33.3 hours on a single charge, that’s actually longer than two iPhone 17 Pro Max put together. This great endurance comes from its large Jinshajiang silicon‑carbon battery.
For photography, the camera system features a 200MP main sensor (Samsung HP9, with OIS), paired with a 50MP ultra‑wide‑angle lens (OV50M, 17mm equivalent), and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens (Sony LYT‑600, 70mm equivalent, f/2.4 aperture, 3x optical zoom).
Other notable features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, dual symmetrical 1115X stereo speakers, and an X‑axis linear motor. It runs on HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
The phone is currently available in China. There is no official word yet regarding its release timeline for other markets, particularly India and the Philippines.
