vivo is cooking something with the vivo X500 Pro and vivo X500 Pro Mini, as fresh rumored specifications have appeared on Weibo. The report came from Digital Chat Station, a reliable tipster in China. These leaks follow the earlier rumors about the X500 Pro and now add the Pro Mini model, which is expected to launch in China in September 2026.
According to the tipster, both models will come with the unannounced MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, a rumored 2nm chipset from TSMC. They will run OriginOS 7 based on Android 17 and are equipped with a dual 50MP main camera setup and a 64MP ultra-wide camera.
Additional display details from the previous leak remain the same with a 6.37-inch LTPO display, and it is now said to support up to a 144Hz refresh rate. The tipster also stated that the battery capacity is expected to be between 6,500mAh and 6,600mAh, aiming for around 7,000mAh.
On the other hand, the vivo X500e has also leaked, revealing that it will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8-series chipset instead of a MediaTek chip. It is also expected to feature a new square camera module with ZEISS-tuned imaging.
