Vivo X500 Pro Max Launched in China with 50MP Sony LYTIA L910 and 200MP Samsung HP0 Periscope

Vivo has officially launched the X500 Pro Max in China, introducing its latest flagship smartphone with a 50MP Sony LYTIA L910 main camera, a 200MP Samsung HP0 periscope telephoto camera, and support for a second-generation Zeiss Telephoto Extender.

The X500 Pro Max also features a 6.85-inch 2K 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display, MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro flagship chipset, Vivo’s V3+ and VS1 imaging chips, and an 8,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

Vivo X500 Pro Max Camera

The phone features a triple-camera system led by a 50MP Sony LYTIA L910 main camera with optical image stabilization and CIPA 7.0 professional-grade stabilization.

The main camera is paired with a 50MP Samsung S5KJN5 ultra-wide camera and a 200MP Samsung HP0 periscope telephoto camera. The telephoto camera supports 3.5x optical zoom, up to 100x digital zoom, and CIPA 7.0 stabilization.

The brand also highlights its BlueTouch imaging technology and a Zeiss ultra-dynamic main camera. The 200MP telephoto camera was co-developed with Blueprint and is designed to provide long-range imaging capabilities.

The phone also supports Vivo’s second-generation Zeiss Telephoto Extender, which provides a 400mm focal length and approximately 17x optical magnification.

For focusing, the X500 Pro Max uses a multi-zone laser autofocus sensor designed to maintain focus on subjects during shooting and video recording.

For video recording, the camera supports 4K video at 120fps with super video tracking focus. The multi-zone laser autofocus system is designed to help maintain focus on moving subjects while recording.

The phone also supports Cinematic Colors and Vivo’s new Log video profile with direct LUT output. Vivo says the system is built around the ACES Academy color coding system and supports official DaVinci Resolve color conversion.

Six cinematic color styles are available, with Vivo saying they are optimized for both photos and video to provide a consistent cinematic look.

The X500 Pro Max also supports cinematic slow motion for capturing slow-motion footage directly from the device.
