Huawei Philippines has partnered with multi-sports destination Pretty Huge to bring the first HUAWEI Fit Fest to local fitness communities last August 5. The one-day event offered more than just product displays. It turned into a full active gathering with three core workout stages, a 3K and 5K community run, guided stretching and recovery sessions, and a high-intensity fitness challenge that let attendees test the brand’s latest wearables and audio gear in real, sweaty conditions.
The event drew a mixed crowd of regular runners from Founders Run Club, local content creators, Huawei campus ambassadors, and casual fitness lovers looking to try new gear. Instead of sticking to scripted demos, organizers let participants use the devices throughout every part of the program to see how each one fit their own routine, from warmup to cool down.
Featured Devices at HUAWEI Fit Fest 2026
- HUAWEI FreeClip 2: Open-ear true wireless earbuds with a secure Airy C-Bridge fit, IP57 water resistance, and up to 38 hours of total battery life, built to handle intense workouts and all-day wear.
- HUAWEI Band 11 / Band 11 Pro: Ultra-slim fitness trackers that log real-time pace, heart rate, and recovery data; the Pro model adds standalone built-in GPS for phone-free outdoor runs.
- HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5: Lightweight square smartwatch with dozens of preloaded sports modes, accurate GPS, and simple AI health insights, suited for cross-training, gym sessions, and daily use.
- HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 Series: Premium round smartwatch with precise health and sports tracking, running form analysis, and up to 21 days of battery life on a single charge.
- HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2: Running-focused watch with AI-powered high-precision GPS, real-time pace alerts, lactate threshold measurement, and race performance predictions for regular and marathon trainees.
Many attendees left with clear impressions of how the tools could support their goals long after the event ended.

“The Huawei wearable devices made me feel excited to join the whole experience because I could track every part of my activity right on my wrist,” said Jacob Evan Caballa, one of the event’s participants. “What stood out most is how comfortable and reliable they felt. I train daily, so having gear that stays out of the way during intense movements matters more to me than any fancy spec on a list.”
Another attendee, Aliah Venice Garcia, tested the Huawei WATCH FIT 5 through multiple activities and praised its low-profile build. “The watch was incredibly light and secure on my wrist. I barely noticed I was wearing it after a few minutes, which let me focus fully on my form instead of adjusting my gear between sets,” she shared.
Audio Built to Keep Up With Every Movement
Leading the audio lineup for all workout stages was the Huawei FreeClip 2, an open-ear true wireless earbud built to balance sound quality with full awareness of the user’s surroundings. The device uses a flexible Airy C-Bridge design made with soft liquid silicone and shape-memory alloy to create a stable fit that does not shift during running, jumping, or rapid direction changes.

During the community run, most runners wore the earbuds to listen to music and audio cues while still being able to hear coaches, fellow participants, and traffic on the route. Its IP57 rating for water and dust resistance held up through heavy sweat and short bursts of light rain during the longer 5K loop, with no dropouts or fit issues reported by testers.
Beyond workouts, the earbuds add everyday utility with AI-powered sound adjustment, clearer voice calls in noisy areas, support for connecting to two devices at once, simple gesture controls, and up to 38 hours of total battery life when paired with its charging case.
Wearables Tuned for Every Type of Training
Huawei paired the audio experience with a full suite of wearables that covered every fitness level represented at the event. Each device was assigned to a specific activity so attendees could match the tool to their preferred style of training.
The Huawei Band 11 and Band 11 Pro were the go-to trackers for most runners. Both have an ultra-slim, light build that sits comfortably on the wrist for hours at a time. They logged pace, distance, heart rate, and recovery data in real time to help runners pace themselves properly. The Band 11 Pro adds built-in GPS for people who want to map their outdoor routes accurately without carrying their phone the entire time.
For cross-training participants who moved between rowing machines, strength circuits, and quick court games like pickleball, the Huawei WATCH FIT 5 emerged as a crowd favorite. Its sleek square face, bright display, and long list of preloaded sports modes made it easy to switch between activities without fumbling through menus. Many testers noted its accurate GPS and simple AI health tips made it a strong option for everyday wear as much as gym use.
Users who prefer a classic round watch design spent most of their time with the Huawei WATCH GT 6 Series. The line delivers premium build quality, highly accurate health and sports tracking, detailed running form analysis, and up to 21 days of battery life on a single charge. Its outdoor-focused navigation and training features also drew strong interest from cycling enthusiasts in attendance, who tested its route planning and elevation tracking tools.
For dedicated runners and marathon trainees, the Huawei WATCH GT Runner 2 showed off the brand’s most advanced running technology. Participants tested its AI-powered high-precision GPS, real-time pace alerts, lactate threshold measurement, race time predictions, and deep post-run recovery breakdowns. These features are built to help runners train more intentionally, avoid overtraining, and approach their target races with clearer data to guide their preparation.
All devices at the event supported automatic syncing to Strava for both iOS and Android users. This feature was widely praised by attendees who wanted to log their Fit Fest workouts directly to their existing training logs without extra steps.
“The built-in satellite (GNSS) tracking was the feature that impressed me most,” said Leira, another event participant who recommended the full wearable and audio ecosystem to other active users. “It recorded my outdoor run perfectly even when I left my phone in my bag. The fact that everything works smoothly on both iPhone and Android makes it easy to recommend no matter what phone someone uses.”
A Focus on Community Over Spec Sheets
For Huawei Philippines, the Fit Fest represents a shift in how it introduces new fitness products to local users. Instead of hosting formal launch events that focus only on technical specifications, the brand wants to give regular people a chance to feel the difference a good wearable can make in their actual routine. The partnership with Pretty Huge, a venue known for welcoming both elite athletes and total beginners, helped create an inclusive space where no prior experience with smart gear was required to participate.
The event is just one of several community-focused activities Huawei has planned for the rest of the year across the country. Future sessions will cover different sports and wellness topics to reach more Filipinos looking to build consistent, sustainable movement habits with the support of simple, reliable technology.
All devices showcased at the HUAWEI Fit Fest are now available for testing and purchase at all Huawei Experience Stores nationwide and through the brand’s official online channels. Interested customers can also visit Huawei’s official website for full pricing, specifications, and upcoming event announcements.
