Samsung has quietly launched the Galaxy A27 5G in the Czech Republic ahead of its expected global release on June 22, 2026. The smartphone is available in Blue, Black, Light Pink, and Light Green color options, with 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB storage configurations.
The company has not yet announced official pricing. However, according to GSMArena, the 6GB/128GB variant is rumored to start at €349 (around $399 or ₱20,699), while the 8GB/256GB model could be priced at €439 (around $503 or ₱24,599).
What’s New Compared to Its Predecessor? Upgrade or Downgrade?
The Samsung Galaxy A27 5G’s most notable upgrade over its predecessor, the Galaxy A26 5G, is its chipset. Instead of using an Exynos processor, the new model is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, which is expected to deliver improved performance, better power efficiency, and enhanced thermal management compared to the Exynos 1380 found in the previous generation.
The display design has also been updated. The Galaxy A27 5G now features a punch-hole cutout, giving it a cleaner, more modern, and premium-looking front panel with slimmer bezels compared to the Galaxy A26 5G’s waterdrop notch design.
However, the newer model also comes with a few compromises. Samsung has downgraded the ultrawide camera, front camera, and IP rating. Below are the key differences between the two devices:

In the battery department, nothing has changed. The Galaxy A27 5G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery paired with 25W fast charging. It runs One UI 8.5 based on Android 16 and is promised to receive up to six years of OS and security updates.
