Tipster Digital Chat Station has shared new details about the iQOO 16 on Weibo, showing off a redesigned camera module that takes a bold new direction.
As per report, the phone uses a square camera frame with large rounded corners, holding three cameras lined up in a row. Small details on the frame and a textured base give it a solid, mechanical feel. The tipster says the overall shape looks somewhat like a UFO, giving it an unusual and futuristic appearance.
Moreover, the back panel also uses a new custom finishing process, adding to the sci-fi inspired look that should help it stand out from other flagships.

On the other hand, the iQOO 16 has recently appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen6 Pro chip. It is expected to launch sometime this September. However, we checked the brand’s official Weibo page and there has been no word yet about this upcoming flagship phone.
