Vivo has revealed display details for its upcoming X500 Pro Max smartphone. The information was shared by product manager Han Boxiao in a post on Weibo.
The device will feature a 6.85-inch 2K BOE Q11 display with Zeiss Master Color Display technology. Vivo claims the panel shows 93 percent less motion ghosting compared to previous displays. Color uniformity is improved by 43 percent, while brightness uniformity is 22 percent better.
The company also states the 2K panel uses 21 percent less power than a 1.5K display and has twice the lifespan. Additional features include 0.3-lux high-precision dimming, 98 percent visible-light matching accuracy, and a high-precision multispectral sensor. Vivo says the X500 Pro Max will offer one of Android’s best auto-brightness experiences.
The X500 Pro Max has previously appeared on Geekbench listings with a 2nm MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. The brand also teased camera specifications for the phone, including a 200MP telephoto lens.
Vivo has confirmed the X500 series will launch in September. The lineup includes the base X500, the X500 Pro, and the X500 Pro Max.
